Kootenay Canitizers commissioned the build of a specialist curbside cleaning unit that enables the safe and effective sanitizing of garbage and recycling cans while capturing potentially harmful effluent. The curbside unit raises the container into a cleaning area where the hot water high pressure rotating spray heads clean and sanitize. The water is recaptured and triple filtered to remove contaminants and disposed of in accordance with local authority guidelines. Capturing the effluent water mitigates the risk of hazardous run-off and the possibility of harming the environment and human health. Containers undergo a final inspection and are deodorized using eco friendly products.
